HISTORY: The Renault 4CV possesses an irresistible charm that never fails to attract attention wherever it goes. Despite its compact size (3.60 metres long, 1.43 metres wide, and 1.48 metres high), it offers a surprisingly spacious interior, comfortably seating four adults, and features cheerful, rounded lines.

At the time, the 4CV was available in three versions: the Standard, the Luxe, and the Grand Luxe Convertible. This top-tier Grand Luxe version included numerous special extras as standard, such as a fabric soft top, fog lights, and abundant chrome details.

This convertible version, equipped with a waterproof retractable roof extending to the engine cover, was produced between October 1948 and August 1956. Only 9,518 examples (Grand Luxe and Luxe combined, both left- and right-hand drive) rolled off the production line, making them highly sought after by collectors today.

This particular unit was originally sold in France, where it appears to have spent most of its life. It was restored around 15 years ago and later purchased by a Spanish collector, who imported and registered it as a historic vehicle in Spain. It has spent the last few years on display in a museum, so it has seen little use recently.
