BODYWORK: In very good condition, restored and finished in its original white colour. In 2017, the electric soft-top motor was repaired, keeping it fully functional just as it was when it drove through the streets of Madrid.

MECHANICS: In 2023, at 179,000 km, major mechanical work was carried out, including engine servicing, gaskets, belt, water pump, thermostat, hoses, oil and filter. It is currently running perfectly and has a valid MOT, ready to be enjoyed.

INTERIOR: In very good original condition, featuring its factory light-brown leather upholstery with no notable defects.

HISTORY: This is the only known surviving Chrysler Stratus convertible from the legendary 1998 Real Madrid victory parade that remains in running condition. The car formed part of a promotional convoy linked to Chrysler Spain, which was an official sponsor of the club at the time.

This vehicle is far more than just a car; it is a witness to the unforgettable night of 20 May 1998, when Real Madrid defeated Juventus 1-0 with Predrag Mijatović’s historic goal at the Amsterdam Arena, ending a drought of more than 30 years without a European title and securing the club’s iconic Seventh European Cup. On that occasion, this Chrysler convertible carried three key figures of the triumph: the President of Real Madrid, Lorenzo Sanz; the captain, Manolo Sanchís; and the manager, Jupp Heynckes.

During the legendary parade from Barajas Airport to the iconic Cibeles Fountain, the team’s heroes rode in this Chrysler before a crowd of more than 500,000 supporters, in one of the most emotional celebrations ever witnessed in the streets of Madrid.
