BODYWORK: The exterior presents a high-quality paint finish, with only a few minor imperfections barely noticeable, typical of normal use but no scratches or significant dents. The chrome trim is in very good condition, with only minor age-related marks, and remains original.
The chassis is sound and original. The boot floor section has recently been replaced with a new factory panel, spot-welded in place and then treated with anti-gravel coating to protect the underside of the new panel (see photos).
The rubber seals around the doors, boot and joints are all in good condition. A new windscreen was fitted in 2024, along with a new grey seal. The chrome mouldings and trims for the doors and fenders were replaced with new items in 2022, along with other small details. The hubcaps and bumpers are original and in good condition, showing only small marks from use, no parts require replacement. The front bumper is original and corresponds to vehicles equipped with air conditioning.
MECHANICS: Mechanically, everything functions correctly. The car has always been well maintained. The suspension spheres are new, as are the brakes and Michelin XVS tyres. The hydraulic system operates perfectly.
The engine starts easily, even after long periods of inactivity, and runs flawlessly. The hydraulic clutch operates very smoothly, the gears engage properly, and the gearbox is quiet. The drive shafts are in good condition.
INTERIOR: The original Pallas interior is unmistakable, with brown leather seats and matching carpet. It shows only minor age-related wear but remains in very good condition. It is fitted with a central armrest between the front seats. The dashboard is in excellent condition, with no cracks, and all original air vents for the air-conditioned version are present and functional. The carpet is original and in good condition, with some light wear from age. The headlining was replaced with a new one in 2022. The door panels are very well preserved, with only a small seam separation on the driver’s armrest, barely noticeable.
The boot carpet is original and shows normal wear from use. All instruments work correctly, including the speedometer, tachometer, temperature gauge, and indicators. The original air-conditioning system is complete except for the compressor, which was removed by a previous owner. However, the condensers in the front bumper and the central console remain in place. The console itself works and activates the fans, but only for fresh-air ventilation, not for cooling.
The Becker Europa radio works perfectly and is connected to an electric aerial operated by a button located inside the glove compartment.
