BODYWORK: The chassis is completely sound, with no welded or repaired parts. This car was always kept in a garage and meticulously cared for by its first owner, a prominent businessman who maintained this saloon in excellent condition. It shows no signs of accident damage or previous repairs, neither in the engine bay, nor around the headlights or boot area, and is entirely free from corrosion. The door seals are in perfect condition, and the front and rear window rubbers were replaced with new ones in 2023. All other seals remain in excellent condition.
The vehicle was completely disassembled for a full repaint, with the glass, rubbers, bumpers, chrome trims, etc., removed to ensure a high-quality finish. It was fully repainted in 2023 and is now in very good condition. Unfortunately, while being stored in the garage, it lightly bumped another parked vehicle, slightly damaging the paint on the front left-hand side near the air vent grille. This small mark can be seen in the photos. Apart from this, the car has no dents or scratches, and the paintwork is of very high quality.
MECHANICS: The engine starts perfectly, even after long periods of inactivity. The automatic choke works correctly. The car has only 99,000 km, confirmed by the previous owner. The 3-speed automatic gearbox operates smoothly and flawlessly.
Mechanical work carried out in 2023 includes: new copper radiator, replacement of all hoses, installation of two electric cooling fans behind the grille, all new brake components, new tyres, new steering and suspension joints, both fuel tanks cleaned and epoxy-coated (Tank Cure), two new fuel pumps, full carburettor overhaul, and other tasks to bring the vehicle to top condition.
INTERIOR: The interior is in original and very well-preserved condition. The seats are immaculate, with only a small seam coming undone on the rear seat, nothing serious. The carpet is original and looks nearly new, showing minimal wear. The original headlining is in perfect condition.
The boot area is almost like new. The trim panels, boot lid lining, side panels and insulation are all in excellent shape. The original radio works perfectly, and the automatic aerial rises when the radio is switched on. All dashboard functions operate correctly, except for the tachometer, which is currently not working. The vehicle is fitted with air conditioning, which is non-functional despite having a new compressor, pipes, filter, etc. The likely cause is a fault in the evaporator unit.
DOCUMENTATION: The vehicle has original Spanish documentation. It is currently registered as a Historic Vehicle, with all the exemptions and benefits this status entails. MOT (ITV) valid.
HISTORY: This car remained with the same owner for more than 50 years. The current owner purchased it in 2023 and carried out significant restoration work. It is now in excellent running condition, capable of covering long distances with ease. The engine runs flawlessly, the gearbox operates perfectly, and the interior has been carefully preserved. On the road, it offers a very smooth ride — you can travel as comfortably as in a modern saloon, with minimal noise, as its 230 hp engine runs almost silently inside the cabin.
