134 - JAGUAR XJ6 4.2 *No Reserve*
On-site auction
Starting price 50 €
SOLD
BODYWORK: In very good overall condition despite not being a restored vehicle. The white paint appears to be original on most of the bodywork, and no rust is visible.
MECHANICS: Equipped with Jaguar’s legendary twin-cam 6-cylinder engine, in this case paired with a manual gearbox. This unit remained in use until 1996, when it passed its last MOT. Since then, it has not been used on the road, although it has been started periodically while stored on stands. It will require a full mechanical overhaul.
INTERIOR: Featuring black leather upholstery. In good original condition, with some signs of wear consistent with age and normal use.
DOCUMENTS: It has original Spanish documentation.
HISTORY: This example was first registered in Spain in 1981 and, interestingly, was ordered with a very basic configuration: white exterior, black leather interior, 6-cylinder engine and manual transmission. This makes it today an appealing and unusual unit, which is also in very good and completely original condition. It has MOT history up until 1995, and the official traffic register records five owners, the last one since 2013. The car has spent the past several years in a museum, stored on stands and out of circulation.
