HISTORY: Within the Maserati Merak range, the SS was the lightest and sportiest version, equipped with a 3,000 cc engine producing 223 hp. According to the manufacturer, only 1,000 units of this model were released, making it one of the most sought-after variants among collectors of Italian sports cars. The great Marcelo Gandini designed this V6 variant based on the legendary Maserati Bora V8. This particular unit was originally sold on the American market, and was registered in New York at least until 2003. It was later exported to the United Kingdom, from where it arrived in Spain approximately ten years ago.
