HISTORY: This was the first 350 cc Norton equipped with an overhead-valve engine. Both the Model 50 and its sister model, the Model 55, were smaller-displacement versions of the 500 cc Models 18 and 20, differing only in their cylinder dimensions. Launched in 1933, it achieved notable success both commercially and in competition —winning the Junior TT in 1937 for the seventh consecutive time and finishing first, second, and third— and remained in production for three decades, with successive technical evolutions. The example offered here, built in 1935, was restored relatively recently and is in excellent condition in every respect.
