HISTORY: The Triumph Model H is one of the most recognisable “between-the-tubes” petrol tank motorcycles among vintage enthusiasts and a regular participant at veteran motorcycle gatherings around the world. Although the manufacturer had been using the name “Trusty” since 1910, this was the model most closely associated with that designation. In essence, it was an updated version of the Model A, now without pedals and featuring a kick starter.
It was powered by a vertical side-valve single-cylinder engine producing 4 hp, coupled to a Sturmey-Archer gearbox with belt final drive. Over time, it received several mechanical improvements, and by the time production ceased in 1923, around 57,000 units had been built.
Although the restoration of this example was carried out many years ago, it was performed meticulously and the motorcycle remains in excellent overall condition.
