BODYWORK: The car is in excellent condition, having been completely refurbished and restored. It has been repainted in its original British Racing Green colour. The chrome trim is also in very good condition.

MECHANICAL CONDITION: Fully restored in 2024, the car has covered barely 100 km since then and is still in its running-in period. The engine was completely disassembled, and countless new parts were fitted, including the carburettor, exhaust system, timing components, pistons, bearings, tyres, and more. The braking system was also rebuilt with new brake shoes. A full photographic record of the restoration process is available.

INTERIOR: Presented in very good condition, finished in its original brown colour, which pairs beautifully with the green bodywork. The front seats have been reupholstered following the original pattern, and period-style headrests have been added for improved safety. The steering wheel is original, fitted with an aftermarket hub typical of the era.

DOCUMENTS: The car comes with its original Spanish registration documents and is pending its next MOT inspection.

HISTORY: This example corresponds to the “Especial” version, which was distinguished by several unique factory features: wider tyres; front disc brakes (not present on the standard 850); a sporty steering wheel—identical to the one fitted to the 850 Coupé—with two wide metal spokes; a storage tray positioned between the two front seats next to the gear lever; redesigned seat upholstery for both front and rear seats; increased power output (ten horsepower more than the standard version); a larger exhaust pipe; a padded rear storage compartment behind the seats; chrome or polished metal trim along the windscreen sides, rear window, and roof gutters; a speedometer calibrated up to 160 km/h and a water temperature gauge; a redesigned front end; ventilated wheels; and reinforced front suspension.

The car was originally registered in Valencia in 1972 and remained in that province with its first owner until recently, when it was purchased by the current owner. This means it has had only two owners since new. It underwent a full restoration in 2024, faithfully respecting its original specifications, and has covered just 100 km since completion.
