226 - BMW 750i E32 *No Reserve*

On-site auction

Closing date

Starting price 50 €

SOLD

BODYWORK: In original, unrestored but well-preserved condition. Most of the paintwork appears to be original and would benefit from polishing and partial restoration, as it shows some minor cracks.

MECHANICAL CONDITION: The real highlight lies under the bonnet: a V12 engine producing 300 hp. The 750 version represented the top of the range, featuring an impressive, smooth and powerful engine that was BMW’s pride at the time. A full mechanical inspection will be required, as the vehicle has been out of use since 2008.

INTERIOR: In good original condition, showing normal signs of wear consistent with age and use.

DOCUMENTS: Registered with a standard Spanish registration from 1996, permanently de-registered since 2008, but eligible for reactivation and transferable (in the seller’s name).

HISTORY: This BMW belongs to the exclusive 7 Series, a symbol of sophistication, technology and luxury in the history of the Bavarian brand. While its only external differences from the inline-six 730 (197 hp) and 735 (220 hp) versions were its unique alloy wheels, thicker twin kidney grilles, wider bonnet crease and rectangular exhaust tip, its V12 engine delivered the performance of a luxury sports car (27.3 seconds to cover one kilometre from a standstill), placing it above a Porsche 944, an Alpine V6 or a Mercedes 190 2.3-16v.

This particular unit was originally sold in Germany and imported to Spain in 1996. Since then, it has had four owners and remained in use until 2008. It has since been kept off the road, stored as part of a major private collection.
