BODYWORK: In very good condition, the paintwork retains its shine and shows no significant imperfections. It was repainted several years ago in its original metallic blue colour.

MECHANICAL CONDITION: In good working order. The car is fully operational, has a valid MOT, and its owner uses it regularly, including for long-distance journeys. Shortly after acquiring it in 2006, the current owner had the cylinder head rebuilt by a specialist workshop, and since then the car has remained in continuous use without any major mechanical issues. The steering system was also repaired by a specialist and now operates perfectly. The owner has always carried out all scheduled maintenance and minor repairs as needed. Numerous invoices are available for all work performed, many from the official Jaguar dealer in Madrid, C. de Salamanca. At present, the coolant temperature gauge reads slightly lower than it should when the car is running.

INTERIOR: In good original condition, with minor signs of wear consistent with age and use on the leather upholstery. The driver’s side electric window is not functioning and requires attention. The power-operated convertible top works perfectly. The cruise control, operated via a stalk behind the steering wheel, occasionally fails to engage.

DOCUMENTS: Registered in Spain as a Historic Vehicle, with all the benefits and exemptions that this designation entails.

HISTORY: This example belongs to the final and most refined series of the Jaguar XJ, which are now the most sought after by collectors. It was originally sold in the United States, where it spent the first years of its life in California. In 2006, it was imported into Spain, and since then it has had only one owner to date.
