HISTORY: The small D45 derived directly from the AB1 model manufactured by Motobécane before the Second World War, and it remained in production between 1945 and 1961 in its various versions. It produced around 5 hp, allowing it to reach a top speed of 65 km/h while consuming less than 3 litres per 100 km. In 1949, after finally adopting rear suspension, it took on the name D45S; two years later, it was fitted with a telescopic front fork.

This example, manufactured in late 1955, was restored several years ago and, although it shows some signs of wear, it remains in very good condition. With a proper tune-up, it will be ready to run again without any issues.
