HISTORY: In 1947, Terrot introduced a 125 cc motorcycle from which numerous variants would be produced over many years. It featured an overhead-valve engine with dry-sump lubrication and a four-speed gearbox. Its mechanical qualities were considered superior to its chassis, which was regarded as somewhat less refined. Nevertheless, it became a very popular motorcycle in France during the 1950s, selling in large numbers—between 150,000 and 180,000 units—thanks to its low price.
The example offered, dating from 1951, was restored some years ago and, although it has not been used for quite some time, is in remarkably good condition. It is a simple yet elegant classic, very easy to ride and economical to maintain.
