HISTORY: Also known as the Mobyserie, the Z24C forms part of Motobécane’s extensive Z range, although this particular version was produced for only two years, from 1955 to 1956. The engine features overhead valve actuation by rocker arms and ignition by magneto flywheel. The gearbox is operated by a foot selector, and the motorcycle rides on 25 x 3 tyres. The example presented in this auction is fitted with two side panniers and a passenger saddle. It was restored some years ago but remains in quite good condition, requiring only a simple tune-up to return to running order.
