BODYWORK
In good overall condition and unrestored. Given its original state, it shows some minor defects consistent with age and use, but the paint retains a nice shine and is generally well preserved. The most noticeable paint flaws are found on the rear spoiler.

MECHANICAL CONDITION
This vehicle has not been driven on the road in recent years, although it has been started periodically while kept on support stands. It will require a full mechanical inspection before returning to use. It was last started on 20 August 2022.

INTERIOR
In good original condition, with some signs of normal wear from use. It retains all of its attractive original upholstery.

HISTORY
The Peugeot 405 Mi16 featured a multi-valve cylinder head engine offering excellent performance, delivering no less than 160 hp in a car weighing only 1,185 kg. Its sleek, aerodynamic body allowed it to reach nearly 220 km/h, an outstanding figure for the time, as well as impressive acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.6 seconds.

Comfortable enough for family travel, well equipped, and with a subtle yet sporty design —distinguished mainly by its alloy wheels, rear spoiler, and red trim lines— the Peugeot 405 Mi16 offered excellent handling dynamics. Unfortunately, its relatively high price limited sales, meaning few were produced and even fewer have survived to this day, making it a rare find.

This particular unit was originally registered in Spain in 1991 and has been preserved in a highly original condition. It was acquired a few years ago by its most recent owner, who stored it carefully on support stands and started it regularly to keep it in working order.
