BODYWORK: In very good condition, fully restored and finished in the livery replicating the official FASA Alpine competition cars, with wide wheel arch extensions.

MECHANICS: 1800 cc engine producing 180 hp, fitted with twin Weber carburettors and a front radiator. In good running condition.

INTERIOR: Restored according to the original road-specification trim (upholstery, etc.), but fitted with a roll cage and a sports steering wheel.

DOCUMENTS: Comes with original period Spanish documentation.

HISTORY: This 1972 unit was originally purchased at the Gijón Trade Fair as an Alpine A110 1300. It was later taken to the official Renault service centre in Avilés, where a French Alpine 1600 S aluminium engine and gearbox were imported and installed. Two years later it was sent to the official Autorenault workshop in Leganés, where the engine was replaced once again—this time with a 1800 cc, 180 hp unit identical to those used in the official FASA Alpine works cars.
