BODYWORK: This unit currently features an elegant Tourer body of the type known as Colonial, a style commonly exported to the British Colonies at the time. For example, many Rolls-Royce models similar to this one were sold to Indian Maharajas during that period. The coachbuilder is unknown, but the body is known to have been constructed in England in the years following the Second World War. The car was originally fitted with a closed limousine-type body by Hooper, which, after several years of service, was discarded and replaced with the current one. The present body is in very good condition, with an attractive colour combination and a newly made soft top.
MECHANICAL CONDITION: The vehicle is in excellent running order and well maintained, fully operational and retaining all its original features. Its owner uses it regularly and has recently taken part in classic car rallies and gatherings.
INTERIOR: It features beautiful red buttoned leather upholstery (capitoné style), as was typical of the era. Both the leather and the wooden trim are very well preserved.
DOCUMENTS: Registered in Spain as a Historic Vehicle, benefiting from all the advantages and exemptions associated with that status.
HISTORY: The history of this example is thoroughly documented, including information about its original coachwork, destination, and first owners. A comprehensive file of documents accompanies the car. Its current owner imported it from England several years ago and has since carried out various improvements and maintenance works in specialist workshops, resulting in the excellent condition it presents today.
