HISTORY: Jawa designed the DT 890 for speedway racing, which was typically held on oval dirt or sand tracks measuring between 400 and 600 metres in length. From the 1960s through the 1980s, the Czech manufacturer dominated this discipline, winning countless titles worldwide with its machines.

The frame consists of welded and reinforced steel tubing to ensure maximum rigidity.
